Hetalia Med-evil/Fantasy RPG?

So I've been dying to for a Fantasy rp for quite some time now so me, Wolp, and Baka started brain storming ideas which ended up like so:

In the grand land of Pangea, a large kingdom ruled over the scattered villages and towns spread across the valleys and mountains. The Russian family had ruled over Pangea for centuries and now the time has come for a new heir to the throne...

Princess Ukraine had just been crowned the new queen of the Pangea while her older brother, Ivan, had been passed over as King due to the demand of a new change for the better good of all by the people. Now Ivan has instead inherited the curse of the family and has become half Dragon. Furious, Ivan has planned to seek revenge and gain what he believe is rightfully his. Ivan has kidnapped the new queen in order to steal her crown, the ancient family prize that has reversed the effects of the crowned heir, curing them of the dragon's curse. He plans to kill his sister with the help of his minions and rule of Pangea as a horrible, dictating King.

Meanwhile, a young man named Roderich seeks the thrill of adventure! He's become tired of running his grandfather's Black smith's forge while his cousins Ludwig and Gilbert are out exploring and adventuring. He ventures of the to Russian Castle town in hopes of becoming a knight, just like his father who was famous for aid his grandfather, Germania, Gaul, Britannia, Scandinavia, and Rome from saving the Kingdom ages ago. Upon arrive, Roderich runs into his sibling Vash who also wants to give up his life as a farm boy for something far more grand, so long as he gets money and lots of it. They end up meeting a few adventures (Arthur, Alfred, Belle, Alezander, and who ever else wants to join. *comment below!!) and forming a guild that seeks the thrills of exploration, fame and treasure. Once Roderich and his new friends gain word of the princess' disappearance, they set off to find and save her in hopes of becoming the next heroes of the Kingdom just like the ancients centuries ago.

I STILL THINK IVAN SOUNDS REALLY EVIL FF

Okaywait.

I probably should have said this earlier, but I'm in a more serious mood now so I may as well just spit it out. To be honest, I don't really want Ivan to be all that bad (I might have got this a bit started myself though, when I said something about him being a dragon). I kinda feel like he's pushed into it a lot when we have big plots like this; and I don't really see him that way as a character in general anyways (More childish and oblivious to what's actually going on, like scaring hurting people without really realising it, and surely not out to kill his siter[s]). I mean, don't get me wrong, he can still be an antagonist, just in a different sort of way. Basically playing an evil guy is just really hard for me, because I start feeling guilty, even if it's just in role play and there's no harm actually done. I don't think I've ever mentioned that to anyone, actually. (And if you were wondering, I'll still keep him as evil in the AvsD RP just for the sake of it.)

I can suggest a way to work around this and still have the plot work the same way. Instead, (assuming Ivan might be forced into a dragon form at night?) maybe there's no control when he is in a dragon form? Ivan can still steal the Queen, but being oblivious to the fact he really isn't supposed to do that. He still needs the crown AND the Queen must be present when the curse is broken, and must be done in a certain place, far away from home. Maybe there's a risk to the Queen's life when the curse is broken he doesn't know about and doesn't believe when he is told? There can still be some sort of tension going on between him and Roderich's gang.

And if anyone can think of someone else to play an other antagonistic figure, that could work too.

That's totally fine Wolpy, I understand~ ^^ Ivan is always forced into being the bad guy most the time (At least in most rps/fanfics). We can totally role with your idea- Matter of fact, I think it's better than the original idea all together! It's like a different approach to the whole situation verse the numerous roleplays similair to this that's usually just a bunch of people going after a dragon/evil character to save a princess. I'm sorry if I upset you or anything; when I get hyped over an idea and start brainstorming, I tend to go WAY over board. ene"
