Vash flinched as Maddie suddenly got up and stormed out of the house. Hesitantly, he got up also, placing his papers back down where he was sitting. "Why must you make a scene of everything?" he called after her, frustrated, as she disappeared through the pathway.

Maddie had finally arrived back home at England house, however she was alone for the week due to Arthur being away on business. It wasn't long before she found herself laying on the soft couch watching Tv in order to kill her boredom. Honestly. How the hell does Lilli put up with that bastard?

Frustrated, Vash marched back into the house, plopping back beside his papers before he picked them up again and set back to work, burden with irritating thoughts.

Maddie started the next morning off with a good note. She had just finish help out her energetic older brother with some fun work he decided to let her join in on. Now, she was on her way back to Arthur's house hoping to keep the day running smoothly. As the first glimpse of the forest came to view, Maddie couldn't help notice she was about to pass Lilli's house again and came to a stop. Perhaps she was home today? If she wasn't, there's no chance of her spending the day with that rude brother of hers. With a sigh, Maddie walked up the cobblestone pathway again and knocked on the front door.

Sighing, Vash got up at the sound of knocking, and made way to the door. Opening the door at once, he saw the familiar Madeline that had come up to the door before, looking for his sister. He lifted an eyebrow, as if he didn't know what she wanted, and didn't speak right away, as if waiting for her to say something first, but then began, "Lilli isn't here."

(I bet she's out having a slumber party with Hungary and Belgium or something.)

Lilli come baaaaaaaack.))

"Oh," Maddie muttered. "Okay,". She turned on her heels instantly and began walking away without another word to the man.

Ain't dealing with yo rudeness today.))

"Wait," Vash said, almost instinctively, before regretting letting that word slip out of his mouth.

"Hm?" Maddie turned back around and faced Vash, hearing him call out to her.

Pausing a bit, he thought of what he ever really had in mind to say when he had told her to wait. Hesitating slightly, he spoke, "What was with you yesterday?" he muttered, "You don't have the knack for keeping to your choices, do you?" He referred, to the fact she had changed her mind on whether she wanted to stay or go the other day.

"Hmph," She huffed stubbornly, eyes narrowing at the man. "Well I was attempting to be friendly but I guess you're unaware of the definition," She spat. "So rude." She turned her back on Vash again, attempting to leave once more.

Vash, taken aback by what she had to say, and, irritated as well, defended himself. "I was not being rude!" he commented.

"OH REALLY?!" Maddie yelled, turning on her heels yet again. "I beg to differ! You showed no respect what-so-ever to me like a proper gentleman should!! Honestly, how does Lilli even deal with you for a brother?!"

Vash's frown grew more obvious, not when she continuously called him rude, but when she brought up his younger sister. He shifted around his eyes, thinking of anything to say back, but all he could manage to mutter out was "Be quiet."

Vash, you got told.))

"Hmph, just as I thought." Maddie grumbled. She had enough of this and for the final time, she turned around and headed on her way home, matching through the forest.

If he knows where I live, I swear.))

"It's not like you're any better," Vash muttered lowly, before shutting the door.

Maddie returned home and treated herself to some muffins Arthur had left her. Sure the man couldn't cook to save his life but his baking wasn't as bad. Ironically despite all her efforts, she was unable to get her thoughts off Vash. The man's personality bugged the hell out of her but she just couldn't figure out why she was so keen on him right now. She did admit she was possible being just as rude herself; Maddie hadn't grasp the meaning of manners well herself. But there was just something about the Swiss that she couldn't figure out! "Maybe you're just crazy," she said aloud to herself.

Vash made his way into his room, before plopping himself on the bed. Why does she even bother coming here? He tried to rest, hopefully to sleep off any stress he had. However, his attempt failed, and he simply lay there, eyes wide open, and shuffled into a new position every now and then.
