"Are you serious?" Roderich demanded, disbelieving the claim. He hissed a vulgar curse. "It's my own damn wedding and I can't do anything I want apparently!!" He sat down in a nearby chair and glared down at the floor. "Remind me to never get married again. Or at least not be the damn bride... WHY AM I THE BRIDE ANYHOW?!?"

Vash laughed, putting his hands on his hips and stared down at the sitting Austrian. "Maybe because you're just more feminine than you think," he commented.

"Nonsense!" Roderich argued. He narrowed his eyes at Vash. "Francis is way more feminine than me. He even has girly hair!" He crossed his arms against his chest and huffed.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say," Vash motioned his hand in a sort of brushing motion to Roderich. He stopped, then continued up his teasing again. "His hair means nothing, you certainly have the more feminine figure- trust me, I've known the two of you well enough-"

"Oh really?" Roderich question, now becoming quite curious over the situation. "I find that just a bunch of foolish nonsense. I'm much more mature compared to Francis' care free attitude. He's always acting so childish all the time-- the complete opposite of me." Roderich paused for a moment to take in the extreme words he just said. His lips arced up, forming a clever grin. "Which I guess is why I'm marrying the idiot. He's always trying to brighten my day."

Vash rolled his eyes and gagged. "Oh boy, not all the gushy stuff again," he grumbled. "Honestly you're probably just marrying each other because you're exactly the same- weak but pretend to be big and scary while hiding behind your silly empire BS- oh and need your asses saved by me from time to time. You're basically just forming a bigger, flashier union."

Roderich laughed histerically. "I would be offended," he admitted. "But then again, that's the nicest thing you have said about Francis and I. I should thank you for that." He checked his watch and frowned. "Now please tell me we'll be leaving soon."

Vash snorted. "Yeah, whatever." He checked his own watch, then peered back at Roderich. "A few more minutes. We can wait by the entrance."

"That's better than sitting here and doing nothing," He agreed. Roderich rolled up his sleeve and got up. He followed Vash over to the entrance and waited impatiently.

Vash moved himself over to the doorway- which actually had no door and instead was permanently open- lucky for them it was kinda low-profile. He waited for his friend to reach him, and turned. "Now to wait for when the bride is supposed to go up," he whispered, with a dark-sounding laugh along side it, "that's you."

"Oh shut up," He hissed angrily. He hated being associated with women. Clearly he was a proud and wealthy gentleman so he found it completely stupid that he was the bride. Roderich's expression turned obviously unamused. "Keep making me wait like this and I just might leave."

"It's not me making you wait," Vash frowned at him. "It's your beloved prince you oh-so-much adore, remember? I'd like to see you get mad at him instead."

"Hmph." Roderich turned his back towards his best friend. How dare he mock Francis in such a way? But Vash was right... It was not his fault Roderich was stuck waiting. "I'm already quite frustrated enough at him, Vash," he admitted. "Don't jinx my wedding."

"Whatever," Vash shrugged unamused, and poked his head out the doorway. He waited a bit staring out there, then pulled himself back in. "It's time," he said, nodding over to Roderich.

"It's about time," he said. Roderich took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He exhaled and felt a wave of anxiety shroud his body. No. You've come too far to chicken out now. He approached Vash and held his hand awkwardly. "Let's get this over with before I choke up like last time."

Vash nearly gagged as the Austrian's hand grabbed his, but he chose to ignore and keep quiet about it. "I couldn't have said it any better," he muttered monotonously. And with that he took his first step out, leading his friend down the aisle.

Roderich sighed and followed beside Vash as he led him down the pearl white silky carpet that was the isle. He kept his focus straight ahead but his eyes couldn't help but peer around his surroundings. Everyone held a hard gaze on him. Roderich couldn't read their faces, but he figure they were all captivated by his good looks. Still, it felt really creepy and he did not like it. Why can't you all look else where?! Roderich squeezed Vash's hand tightly as he felt his breath hitch. Why were there so many people to begin with? Roderich didn't even know half of these people! Yet they all were staring at him in a way that made him afraid to screw up. Maybe this is why people get so nervous at their weddings, because everyone is always fucking watching them with such high expectations. Roderich continued down the isle at a more rapid pace, trying to hold himself up with what little dignity he had left. He shot Francis a troubled look when they got to the alter as he held out sweaty hand.

Vash could sense his friends nervousness... and his slight annoyance, which caused him to roll his eyes. He managed to overall ignore it though, continuing up to the front until they reached the alter and released his friends hand before stepping to the side.

Francis greeted Roderich with simply a smile. His hands were holding each other as he awaited patiently for the service to continue and stood across from Roderich, staring straight at him.

Roderich held Francis' hands tightly, smiling weakly at him. His eyes were locked in the other's, filled with strong mix emotions. This was it, this was the moment of truth that both of them have been dying for. Roderich heard the Officiant begin the ceremony, speaking kind and religious words but Roderich wasn't listening. He was spaced out from his surroundings with his focus on Francis. His lovely golden lockes, his deep blue eyes, his soft pink lips forming the usual beaming smile. He could hardly breath from all of the pressure--- no really, he couldn't breath. He felt his head become dizzy from the lack of oxygen; his chest tighten from his suffering lungs. Damn his anxiety. Roderich gasped and coughed a small fit. He let go of Francis' hands and took a moment to catch his breath. He shot Francis a sad look, then fixed his posture, returning to their original position. However this time, his gaze rested on the floor, his head lowered in disappointment.

(New headcanon that Roddy had stage fright. Not good combined with his commitment issues unfortunately :c )

Francis frowned slightly.What is bothering him? He gave Roderich a worried glance.Ignoring the fact they were on stage, he moved himself to stand beside his companion and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't be nervous; there is nothing to worry about," he whispered.

(SHIT THAT IS TRUE. I FORGOT HE WAS A CONDUCTOR AND COMPOSER FOR A MINUTE-- nervous paranoia then? He gets really anxious and upset because he worries about fucking up too much?-- Maybe I need to just leave Roddy alone. I keep trying to change him too much and I just end up undecisive... :c My dedication to him is too strong.))

"Oh there's plenty to worry about," Roderich hissed under his breath. He didn't shift his position because he was unanble to look Francis in the eye with any sense of confidence. "Plenty such as making myself look like a complete foolish bastard infront of such a huge crowd of people at my own wedding." Roderich leered at the ground, his mind clouded with anger and other mixed emotions. He chewed down upon his lip. "Why are there so many people anyhow? I don't even recall knowing so many and I'm sure you haven't introduced me to anyone here either." He could see the concerned looks of a few as they watch the two lovers speak in hush tones. "You know what-- forget it. Can we just get this over with already? This crowd is more skeptical than any audience I'd ever composed for. And I'm not the only center of attention here!"
