Francis was a little late to the meeting today, but of course, he surely had a reason for it. He had woken up later than he was supposed to, and he still needed plenty of time to dress up and look nice for everyone! It wouldn't have been right to go out in public without some fancy attire and looking nice, would it? He made his way to the meeting room after entering the building, and once reaching the door, swiftly grabbed for the doorknob and walked himself inside. The meeting had already started, but that didn't matter. "Hello everyone~" he greeted, announcing his arrival and disregarding the fact the meeting was already going on.

Roderich rolled his eyes unamused as he along with some other nations take notice of Francis' late and loud arrival. It was his style though so it didn't necessarily surprise the aristocrat. "Idiotic fool," He huffed under his breath before returning to his own papers. These long dreadful meetings bored Roderich more than interested him so he decided to use the time wisely and finish up some last minute paper work, that way he would be free for the evening to do whatever he wanted.

Peering about the room, Francis searched for a vacant seat to take. His eyes moved up and down the line of seats at the long table. However, he finally spotted one, and he pranced over to it, before plopping onto it to take a seat. He turned to the person to his left, which just so happened to be Roderich. "Bonjour~"

Roderich released a heavy sigh. Great, of all the people he was forced to sit by it just so happened to be him. "Guten Morgen, Francis'," Roderich said with a hint of annoyance in his voice. The last thing he wanted was to make small talk with the french man.

"I've just got here and this meeting is already boring me," Francis commented, "As always, of course." He nodded and hummed cheerfully. "Today's not a day I want to be throwing myself into the conversation like usual, perhaps I could talk to you instead, hmm?" Francis placed a hand on Roderich's shoulder and winked.

Roderich gave Francis an unamused look along with a raised eyebrow. "Why me?" he grumbled. "I'd assume you would think of me just equally as boring. Besides, why not converse with those two idiots over there?". He glared over at Antonio and Gilbert; he had known the three of them were best friends and had got into trouble from time to time. ". He returned his attention back to his paperwork with a small huff, hoping Francis would actually take his "advice".

"Well I'm already sitting next to you," Francis added in as an excuse, "Those two are rather far away from this seat, don't you think? It's much easier to talk to the one I'm sitting next to."

"Hmph," Roderich huffed in response. "Well I just so happen to be busy mind you. I'm sure you can entertain yourself in some other way."

"Hmm? Like what?" Francis asked, "I'm sure it's no more fun than this meeting is. Don't you like to have fun?"

"I have 'fun' on y own time," Roderich grumbled. "Business and work come first for they are the most important.". Roderich finished up the rest of his paperwork then placed it neatly into his business folder. Now all he had to do was wait until this dreadful meeting was over and then he could go home.

"Is that so?" Francis questioned, a hint of laughter in his voice. He picked up one of Roderich's papers and held it up to look at it. "And what is it exactly you are working on then that's so important?"

"Just the usual pile of documents-- nothing you'd be interested in," Roderich hissed. He snatched the paper back from Francis, placing it away with the others then put his folder back into his suitcase. To his relief, Roderich looked up and took note that the meeting was over, seeing everyone getting up and leaving. "Finally," He sighed.

"Shame I didn't pay attention to what they were going on about this time," Francis huffed, then turned to Roderich, "You wouldn't have any idea what they were discussing, would you?"

"Wouldn't have a clue," Roderich muttered. It wasn't like he was paying attention either; he had to have small talk with this fool. "I'm sure it's nothing of great importance though but if it is, they'll just give a two hour summary over it in the next meeting," Roderich said exaggeratedly as he grabbed his suitcase.

Seeing Roderich prepare to leave, Francis put a hand on his arm. "You wouldn't happen to be doing anything today, are you?"

"No," Roderich answered, raising an eyebrow at Francis. "Why do you ask?"

A smile grew on Francis's face, "Oh good!" He cheered, "Then you wouldn't mind coming to my place for a bit?" He nudged him lightly. "I get alone quite often, it's nice to have some new company around."

Millions of reasons were popping into Roderich's mind as to why he shouldn't go. You barely even know him, he might be up to something, this must be one of Gilbert's schemes of some sort-- YOU BARELY EVEN KNOW HIM!! But alas, Roderich Edelstien was in fact a gentleman and being of such sorts required him to keep his posture at all times. He simply could not refuse such a honest gesture. "That's very kind of you, Francis," he complimented the older man. "It would be my pleasure to join you this evening."

"Wonderful~" Francis nodded, "Now, would you like to go out someplace for dinner, or eat at my place? - Dinner's on me either way, of course."

"Whatever works best for you," Roderich said. "I'm not too picky.". He really was picky most of the time, however it wasn't polite to be so when someone is inviting you over and treating you to dinner. Roderich shrugged a bit. "Who knows, maybe you'll enjoy yourself tonight," he told himself. Instantly, he growled a bit under his breath. What was he thinking? Being polite didn't make up for the fact that this guy is being a bit too..... strong perhaps. It's just a simple dinner, not a date.

"Perhaps I'll just be simple and make dinner at home," He stated, "I hope you like French cuisine~" He then grabbed a hold of Roderich's arm, nudging him to follow out the door.

(I swear, if this ends up like Rai and Yaaky and they have like 100 dates in one day--))

"I'm sure it'll be fine," Roderich commented as he followed Francis out the door. He rolled his eyes carelessly. Francis was so full of himself as always; he'll regret agreeing to this decision by the end of the night no doubt.

Upon walking up to his front door, Francis turned to Roderich, "Don't you think it's lovely here? Around my house I mean." Then, continued to open the door, letting Roderich and himself inside his home.

"It's beautiful," Roderich said with a hint of sarcasm. He had never met anyone so full of themselves before-- unless knowing himself counts. At least he didn't brag about it just as much. But Roderich had to admit, the house was quite stunning. It was just as fancy as his own home.

Francis let out a small laugh, then lead Roderich to the dinner table. "Go ahead, take a seat," he directed, "Is there any specific thing or request for dinner~?"
