"Anything you would like to cook with be fine," Roderich said, taking his seat at the dinner table. "Like I said, I'm not too picky."

"Of course, of course," Francis nodded, patting Roderich on the shoulder, then heading over to prepare their meal, "I'm sure you'll love it either way, after all, it will be French food. And French food is the finest food there is~"

"I'm sure it'll be the most amazing thing I've ever tasted," Roderich said so bitterly that one could easily hear the irritation and extreme sarcasm in his voice. Then again he wouldn't be surprised if Francis didn't notice due to the man's super ego; hell he was worse than Roderich when it came to bragging about himself. Roderich wished he could drop the act but his gentleman posture was so mandatory plus he wouldn't want to seem rude would he?

A bit of time passed and Francis had finally finished their food. He places a plate in front of Roderich and set one down for himself. He took a seat across from Roderich, waiting for him to take a bit.

Roderich looked down at the plate of food set before him. He had to admit, it did look quite delicious. He picked up his fork and knife, cutting himself a small piece and taking his first bite. "Truly delicious," he complimented.

"Well of course~" Francis chuckled, before digging into his own food.

Roderich sighed heavily, getting irritated now. When was Francis never thinking so highly of himself? It was like he only cared about himself which would be odd for "The Country of Love". Didn't he give his attention towards someone else? Roderich hadn't recall ever hearing Francis having another lover besides Jeanne-- but that was another story. He should have someone to give all that attention to, though Roderich couldn't admit being too happy listening Francis go on and on about his food and his thing. However, he could admit that the man looked.....rather dashing tonight; then again when isn't Francis looking amazing. Roderich stopped eating for a moment. Did I just admit that Francis was attractive? Roderich shook his head a bit. You're truly going a bit looney tonight Roderich. Perhaps it's time for you to leave.

"So," Francis began up again, placing a hand gently on Roderich's shoulder, "What would you like to do now? I'd be willing to treat you to anything- be it reasonable of course~"

"Um..." Roderich stuttered slightly, feeling a bit awkward now. He need to make an excuse or something! "No no, it's fine! I uh... I could never trouble you into forcing me to stay here any longer! I mean you have other business to attend to likewise myself and I wouldn't burden or anything," he quickly explained, jumping up to his feet.

"Don't be silly," Francis chuckled, nudging Roderich to sit back down on his seat, "It's no bother at all."

Roderich slowly sat back down in his seat. "Then what are we to do then, considering dinner is now over?" he asked, concerned.

"Why not sit down and talk?" Francis suggested, taking a seat across from Roderich once again. "Enjoying each other's company is always something you should do when you have a guest over."

"If you insist," Roderich muttered. He sat up straight, regaining his gentleman posture and looked over at Francis. This would either end two ways: Roderich being bored to death, or..... something unusual. He could only wait and see, that's what he knew for sure.

"Good," Francis nodded and winked, "Let's get to know each other a little better. Perhaps we haven't had such a nice past with each other. What do you like to do usually?" He stared, resting his head on his hands.

"Well," Roderich began, feeling a bit awkward. "I'm sure you've heard from Gilbert just how much I tend to play my piano; I'm sure he's gone on about it multiple times." Roderich rolled his with an annoyed hiss. "But besides that I do read in my spare time: I also bake every so often." Roderich pushed up his glasses then turned away slightly. He didn't know what was worse, the fact that Francis wanted to know so much about him or the fact that he was so blunt about personal business. It kinda disturbed the aristocrat just a bit.

"Bake you say?" Francis lifted his eyebrows in curiosity. "Well if you can bake well, we could make a good baking-cooking team, you know."

"Well I haven't baked in awhile," Roderich admitted sheepishly. "But I suppose I'm not too bad..."

"Oh, I'm sure your baking is fine," Francis assured. "Then again, I don't think I've ever tried it."

"Well it's a bit too late for baking anyways," Roderich insisted, not wanting to try doing so right now. Besides, what point was there in baking this late at night?

"Even so, I'd like to try it sometime," Francis gave a light chuckle, "Why not you bake tomorrow?"

Roderich paused as his face turned a rather embarrassing light pink. "Sure," He agreed. "I wouldn't mind that I suppose.". He took a deep breath to calm down and remove his light blush. Well France was quite the charmer, but Roderich wasn't going to fall for his idiotic tactics so easily; he was smarter than that.

"Good," Francis nodded, about to get up, but sat himself back down. "So would you like to stay over night then? It'd be easier than leaving and coming back in tomorrow."

Roderich thought for a moment. Francis was right, it'd be less of a burden to stay the night then to go home and come back. He did however prefer sleeping in his own bed rather than some other bed, but it would have to do. "Very well then," Roderich said, getting up from his seat. "I'll spend the night then."

"Ah, good!" Francis said excitedly, jumping from his seat and grabbing Roderich's hand. "I'll show you where you will be staying then~" He then proceeded to lead him up the stairway.

Roderich smiled slightly and followed Francis to where he'd be sleeping tonight. Knowing the older man well, he was bound to give him quite a fancy room, but that didn't matter to Roderich; at least not too much.
