Vash walked out the door, and spun himself in the direction of his home, before setting off and walked in that direction. When he finally got to his own front door, he huffed, letting himself in before feeling more comfortable now that he was back in his own house.

Roderich suddenly rose from his bed as an idea popped into his head. He could always just go visit Vash's house of course. Yes, it'd be rather silly going to his house even though Vash was just at his own but it was better than sitting around all day. Roderich grabbed his coat, ran downstairs, and left out the door to his best friend's house.

Vash settled himself onto his sofa, simply leaning back, staring at the ceiling. It's not like there was anything he really wanted to do at the moment... although he probably had quite a bit of work he could get done. He shifted a bit, before getting up to go possibly work on some papers. Or just whatever work might be lying around.

Roderich wondered the woods a bit uneased. He was sure Vash's house wasn't that far away and he was certain he'd arrive there in a matter a minutes. Still....there was something different about the woods. "I better not be lost...." Roderich muttered, beginning to doubt himself. "I should have never bothered to leave the house..."

Settling down at his desk, Vash grabbed at a portion of papers, pulling them up to the center of the desk so he could work. He really wasn't in the mood, but hey, work needs to be done.

After a while, Vash's small house came into view just up the hill. Roderich sighed in relief as he followed the cobblestone pathway up to the doorstep. He straightened himself up and cleared his throat before knock upon the wooden door.

Upon hearing the door knock, Vash groaned, getting up to his feet, and left his stack of papers behind. He marched to the front room, where the door that lead to the outside stood. He opened the door, finding Roderich. He didn't bother greeting him- he was just with him a bit ago anyway, so it probably didn't matter- and he merely lifted an eyebrow.

"May I come in?" Roderich asked, skipping introduction as well but still keeping his gentleman stature.

Roderich nodded a thank you before entering Vash's house. He hung up his coat in the closet then sat himself down on the sofa. "I'm sorry Vash but am I disturbing you by any chance?" he asked softly.

Vash waited a bit to reply, shoving the idea of all the work he had to get done to the back of his head. "No."

Vash refused to start up a conversation, and instead plopped himself down on the opposite side of the sofa Roderich had sat on.

Roderich sat silently as he looked around the house. It was a bit dirty but then again he assumed Vash wouldn't have much time to keep the house clean considering all the man ever does is work. The house was practically silent besides the sound of the two breathing which annoyed Roderich. He huffed and tried to think of something fun to do.

Vash mumbled to himself for a bit, before finally speaking. "Why did you come here? There's no point. I was just at your place, so it's not like you could have been dying to see me. Unless you miss people that fast." He turned his head, lifting an eyebrow.

"Well I had else at my house so I thought I'd come visit yours," Roderich explained. "Besides, I'm sure your has much better things to do then mine."

"Of course you do!" Roderich instisted. "Don't be so foolish Vash. Yet you wonder why I'm you're only friend.". Roderich peered down and saw an old box on the bottom of the bookshelf he was searching and picked it up. He blew the dust off and got a glimpse at what it was. "Monopoly.". "Ah, here we go," he said proudly, turning around. "How about this one? I remembered you being good at this one."

(i've never played monopoly actually because i never owned it and like it's too long of a game to play at someone else's house hehehe)

Vash rolled his eyes, unamused. "That's because I actually know how money works," he mumbled, "unlike some people." He stood staring silently for a moment, before continuing. "But why play a foolish game like that? I've got better things to do."
