Roderich sighed again, this time less angrily and went back to playing his dear piano again for the 3rd time. This time however, he had fought his urge to slip away with the music and instead, he kept his eyes glued to the keys to make sure nothing would happen.

Ivan sat, watching the man play his dear piano. He shuffled a bit, being slightly restless of sitting in one spot. It wasn't long before he turned to look up at Roderich from his sitting position, and nudged his arm that was playing smoothly against the keys.

Roderich stopped playing for a moment and looked down, feeling Ivan nudge him. "What is it now, Ivan?" He asked bitterly, desperate to return to his music.

Ivan just shook his head, as if he were saying 'nothing', but without a word escaping him.

Roderich raised an eyebrow, a bit concerned of Ivan's unusual action. Strange, he's never been like this before. He turned in his seat and stared directly at Ivan. "Are you sure?" He asked; this time in a softer tone.

"I'm sure," he replied, cheerfully, setting up a wide grin toward Roderich.

Roderich could tell that something was obviously wrong and that Ivan was lying to him but he decided to leave him be. He got up from his seat and made his way to the door. "Then I guess I'll take a break then," he said before exiting the room.

As Roderich got up and left, Ivan followed. First by crawling, then eventually getting up to his feet.

Roderich had retreated to his living room where he sat content, reading a novel which was accompanied by his mug of coffee as usual. He suppose reading would take his mind away from Ivan.

Ivan plopped himself beside Roderich, staring at the book he was reading. "What are you reading?" he asked, pointing to the book with his finger.

Roderich raised his head slowly, turning his attention back to Ivan instead of his novel. "Could you not do that, Ivan?" He asked strictly, losing his patience.

Roderich just sat there and watched Ivan continue to mess with his hair, knowing that there'd be no way to stop him.

Ivan messed with Roderich's hair a bit longer, before sticking his nose in it and inhaled. "Your hair smells nice," he commented.

"Danke?" Roderich replied awkwardly, unsure whether to be flattered or completely creeped out by Ivan's bizarre action.

Ivan lifted his head out of Roderich's hair, before he pet his head with his hand.
