I think vampires should need to drink blood to survive and just grow weaker when they don't. Possibly go into a frenzy if they are around blood while they are thirsty.
And I think needing to drink a few times every week or two is good.

What about how werewolves look in their wolf form?
I was thinking a sort of quad version one- but not like in Twilight exactly. Only slightly taller than an actual wolf, but bigger and build and with a sort of different body shape, and possibly a shorter snout. Of course, their build would also depend on how the character looks in their human form.
I was thinking a mix of these sort of shapes; This but smaller, This, Closer to this, And a bit thicker than this.

So, pretty much a very muscular wolf with a slight human shape. 
Maybe they could stand on two legs if they want to, but it is easier for them to walk and run on four?

Well those pictures were more muscular than I intended, but most werewolf pictures depict them as very muscular--- so mainly just thicker legs is how I would explain it. But like I said, depends on the character's build. That's more of a Germany werewolf--- -shot-

Yeah I'd think being able to stand on two feet, if stood still or slowly and awkwardly walking would be good.

Because they couldn't just wander around in cities and stuff as bats and wolves when they're vampires and such if we go with that idea, and werewolves aren't that bad in modern usually.

I mean if there isn't any outright hunters for this stuff, then most people would just see them as big dogs since no one is that superstitious anymore. Bv

Yeahhh, but if you go where like I live for example, bats and wild dogs dont live around here, as there is too much industry. The only dogs you can find are 'wild' breed dogs like yellow labs and such. I've never seen anything else wild besides the occasional deer and rabbit. It really depends on where this is based, you know? BV

Yeeaahhh.Asabigwolfwouldseem... I dunno, more hard to deal with, with fighting, because all they'd also have would be their teeth, and speed, but a vampire could use weapons and such.

But if you look at some movies with anthropic werewolves, the body/legs are placed in a way that lets them move down onto all fours, albeit with a little... awkward placing, but they could still run around on all fours as well as two. Just think if a human were to crouch down and run, just... better, as there actually is a family in Turkey I believe that are able to walk on all fours at all hours of the day, even run-

Ahha, well we don't even get stray dogs here, but I practically live on the edge of a big city, but there are plenty of bats and foxes and hedgehogs and cats and all.
I actually think that mainland Europe could be a good setting because there would be plenty of cities, but also forests and fields. Plus they have natural wolves and all sorts of wildlife in Europe so probably would be a good setting? NottomentionlotsofEuropeHetaliacharactersbut---

And yeah, that fighting thing makes a lot of sense.

I wasn't talking about it looking good or reasonable, but I mean anatomically and realistically, no creatures can walk well both on all fours and on two legs because they involve different pelvic bone shapes, andsimilarlyit'sdifficultforbipedalcreaturestohavetailsyetbeabletowalkwell, but we could just pretend those problems do not exist because this isn't entirely realistic anyway-

I don't even get a lot of stray dogs myself, considering there's a dog catcher around here, and the only cats that roam the streets belong to someone, so they're not technically 'wild'.

But yeah, maybe? We could also tweak the 'modern' world anyhow-
Since if we're ignoring the werewolf stuff, which... is reasonable, I suppose I mean no one knows how any werewolf would look. For all we know they could just have a wolf head and instead of turning savage turn like kind old ladies.
