Anxious to see him again, Francis bounded up to Rais's home. It had been a long time since they've gotten together, especially since they were family and should see each other more often. Before making his way to the door, he peered in a nearby window, in hopes he could maybe catch a glimpse of him first, but when he did, no one was in the particular room. He simply shrugged it off, and marched up to the front step, knocked, then waited.

(Basically both our challenges involve someone walking up to the front door and knocking.)

Rais quickly hopped up from his desk surprised at the knock coming from the front door. A visitor? How odd; he hadn't be visited in awhile apart from the occasional times that his dear friend Yaaky came to see him. Perhaps it was Yaaky again? Or maybe that annoying pest, Demetri again come to bother him. He sighed and exited his study, making his way to the front door. He opened the door a bit nervous only to be further surprised by the man that stood before him. "P-Papa Francis?!" He stuttered, barely able to find words. What was France doing here? Surely he had more important things to deal with then come visit him?

When the door had opened, only to see Rais standing right inside it, Francis swung his arms around him for a tight hug. "Bonjour~!" he greeted, "It's been a long time, hasn't it?" He pulled away, only to keep his hands planted on Rais's shoulders, looking at him face-to-face. "How have you been?"

"I-It has!" Rais answered, still lost for words. A huge grin crept onto his face. It had been ages upon ages since he had last saw his father; he couldn't believe that the man was now stand before him. "I've been doing quite well!" He assured him. "Care to come inside?" He asked, holding the front door open.

Francis nodded, "Of course," he replied, "I would love to!" He stepped inside Rais's home, letting out a delighted sigh. "I've missed seeing you," he began again, "It's been difficult to get around to doing everything I want to do lately. And you, unfortunately, don't live right next door!"

"Oh really?" Rais said. "Well I shouldn't be surprised really; Being a super power country must be so much work." Rais sat down onto the fluffy couch and sighed. "You know I envy you sometimes, papa. I do... You're a super strong country and highly looked upon." He said with a small smile.

Francis sat down beside Rais. "I see," he said, "There are plenty of stronger countries than I though- but of course! I'm much more of a lover than a fighter!" He places his hand ontop of Rais's shoulder, grinning, "Just like you, hmm?"

"Yeah," Rais answered with a warm smile. "Of course; I mean you raised me as such. Senseless fighting's never really been my thing. Sure I can defend myself with out too much of a problem but I never wish to go to war with anyone." He gaze fell to the ground and along did, his smile fell to, turning to saddened frown. The thought of war always troubled Rais even though it had been awhile since he had been in one. The old memories of just barely making out of wars and being injured always made the young man feel weak. Very weak.

Francis looked over at Rais, a concerned look planted on his face. "Is there something wrong?" he questioned, inching a bit closer to him.

Huh?" Rais muttered, coming back to reality before glancing back at France. "Oh, uh yeah," he lied with a forced smile. "I'm fine! So, is there anything you want to do today since you're staying over for a awhile?"

IT'S ALRIGHT, DEAR.))

Francis still looked concerned for Rais, but thought maybe doing something else could possible bring him out of that kind of thought. He shrugged at Rais's question, "We can do anything you'd like," he said, "I want you to do something you want to do."

And the best daddy award goes to.))

"R-really?" Rais stuttered, taken by surprise. "W-well if you're sure...." Rais began to ponder what exactly he even wanted to do.nye hadn't been out the house for a while being caught up with work. He finally looked back up with a small grin. "Well I know you haven't really seen much of my land really, so why not go on safari?" He suggested. "You could see all the amazing animals; besides I should probably check on the animal population anyways for my work."

I JUST HAD THIS THOUGHT OF FRANCE FUCKING UP AND GETTING CHANCED BY THE LIONS.))

"A safari?" Francis questioned, with a bit of interest sounding in his tone of voice. "We could do that," he nodded, "It would be nice to take a look around."

Dad. Dad what are you doing doing? Dad no. Dad- Dad no! No!!- GOD DAMMIT DAD YOU FUCKING DIPSHIT!! WHY WOULD YOU MESS WITH NATURE?! THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!))

"Great!" Rais said before getting up. "Just give me one moment." Rais soon disappeared up the stairs to his room.

Need to get my stuff incase shit goes down.))

Francis watched as Rais disappeared upstairs. He yawned a bit, as he waited for him to return.

Rais soon came back down the steps with a bag strapped around his shoulder and what appeared to be rather large rifle in his hand. He quickly put the safety on it before strapping it also to his back. "Alright, we can go," he said eagerly to his father. He walked over and held the door open for the older man respectfully. "After you~"

Seeing Rais return back down the stairs, Francis stood up with full attention on his son. He then nodded, "Merci~" he said, stepping out the opened door, and waited for the other to step out and lead the way.

Rais nodded with a pleased smile before exiting the house, closing the door behind him. He lead Francis over to the small jeep in his drive way, tossing his bag and rifle in the back seat the getting in on the driver's side. Their ride was nothing luxury of course, considering they were going out into the hot savanna and desert, but it worked all the same like any vehicle.

Following Rais out to the vehicle, Francis plopped into the passenger seat. "So," he began, looking over to Rais, "What should I expect to see on this?"

"Oh just the usual," Rais began, starting up the car. "Gazelle, hippos, foxes, couple of birds, goats, crocodiles, lions, cheetahs, maybe a leopard or two, hyenas..... All sorts of stuff!" The young man grinned before pulling out the drive way and driving down the long dirt road to the wild.

AND THE HUNT IS ON.))

Francis nodded a bit after Rais's answer. "Isn't that... a bit dangerous?" he asked, with a bit of nervousness in his voice, "I've hear of some of those animals attacking people and all."

(Dis nugget is scrared.)

Rais chuckled, noticing the fear in his father's voice. "Well considering I been living around it my whole life, wouldn't exactly think it'd be too dangerous," he admitted with a wave. "Don't worry papa, I promise you we'll be fine plus I brought the rifle in case something does happen!" He wrapped an arm around Francis, leaning his head on the older man's shoulder then snickers childishly. "I'd never thought I'd see you so frighted," Rais snickered.

Francis nodded, a bit reassured. "If you say so," he shrugged, inching a bit closer to Rais.

"Oh I know so," Rais said as his grin soon switched to a childish smirk. He drove for a couple more minutes until he finally recognized they were finally entering the savanna area. Rais felt the morning daylight begin to beat down; nothing that he wasn't use to of course living in Africa and all. He slowed down a bit, making sure he wouldn't scare off any nearby animals if there were any. It wasn't long before he spotted a herd of gazelle nearby and inched a bit closer before parking. "We're in luck," Rais said. "They're usually not out this early."

Yay. Deer things.))

"Hmm?" Francis peeked up to get a view of what Rais was referring to. He then saw the gazelles Rais was looking at. "Oh," he then began, interest sparked in his voice, "When are they usually out then?"
